Chiappera Occupata

At the heart of our mid-August celebration of Ferragosto, the quiet routine of the hamlet undergoes a transformation after sunset: an event everyone knows as “Chiappera occupata” disrupts the tranquillity of our sleepy village with three joyful partying nights of food, drink and music.

We offer our special dinner and buffet “Apericena”, karaoke, the election of Miss Maria’s Bar, and especially great music and disco dance with DJ Fabri Prince Fenoli. Excellent food and generous quantities of beer and wine, coupled with an irrepressible wish to dance and have a good time, have gradually gained the upper hand over rain and not always summery temperatures, confirming “Chiappera occupata” as a date you can’t miss!
